Featuring magnificent ocean views, the Beach Terrace Inn is the only hotel located directly on the beach in the charming town of Carlsbad, home to Legoland California.

We offer a variety of guest room options, including studio suites, ocean view suites, and grand guest rooms with two queen size beds along with a sofa sleeper.

Located on a private deck, our outdoor pool and therapy whirlpool area offers plenty of tables and lounge chairs. The beach is easily accessed through our secure gates, and beach towels are available.

Hotel Reservation Policies

The hotel charges a $1.00 per night city assessment fee. This fee is not included in your reservation total, and will be charged upon check-out from the hotel.

Rates are based on single occupancy. There is a charge for each additional person, including children ages 2 and over. When selecting the number of persons in your party, please list all persons ages 2 and over as adults. If the correct number of persons ages 2 and over is not entered at the time of booking, the extra person fee will be billed upon arrival. Between the dates of September 16th and May 15th, the charge is $15 per person, per night. From May 16th to September 15th, the charge is $20 per person, per night.
