Explore the beautiful sea cliffs and sea caves. Paddle through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve filled with marine life. Kayak to Sunny Jim's Cave, the Arch Cave, the Clams' Cave and other sea caves for an amazing close-up of the sandstone formations. Witness sea lions, Garibaldi, leopard sharks, shovel nose guitar fish and the occasional dolphin on this La Jolla kayak tour.

Included in Tour: Tour Guide, kayak, paddle, life vest, and complimentary lockers and changing rooms. Wetsuits are available for rent for $5.00 on cooler days.

Swim with the Leopard Sharks on this 1-hour introductory snorkeling lesson along the nearby shores of La Jolla, and keep the snorkel gear for the remainder of the day. Get up close and personal with the harmless Leopard Shark, Shovel nose Guitar fish, Bat Rays, and other unique local creatures in the calm waters of La Jolla Shores. Snorkel equipment is due back at the store by 5pm.

Kayaking in La Jolla Shores is one of the most popular activities for San Diego visitors while on vacation in La Jolla. Experienced kayakers can paddle over to the sea cliffs and caves of La Jolla and witness an array of marine life within the Ecological Reserve. Kayak rentals include the kayak, paddle, life vest, mandatory water map, complimentary lockers & changing rooms, and we transport the kayak to the boat launch for you.

Don't want to paddle on your own? Try a tandem kayak for two, where two people ride tandem in one kayak!

2-hour Rental
Minimum Age: 14 and under must be able to paddle in a double with an adult.
*Some experience is required; individuals renting kayaks unaccompanied may not enter the sea caves without an instructor*
